In the thermosetting epoxy/dicyandiamide (DICY) formulation, the DICY is a hardener which provides excellent processing, outstanding electrical and mechanical features, and extended shelf life. As the system requires time for curing and elevated curing temperature as close as 200 °C, which is high for most applications, it is necessary to speed up the curing process and decrease curing temperature significantly, while maintain the shelf life of the composite. |
